Happy New Years!

A week later Mike ran into John at our favorite bar “The Goodfoot”. John mentioned how we looked good together and he thought Mike should give Tina a call. John gave her phone number to Mike and he called her the next day.

Since we have been together we have shared many great moments together. We love taking road trips and have visited some amazing places including the San Juan Islands, Bend, OR; and the mountains of Northern California / Southern Oregon.

One of our favorite summer activities is attending music festivals. Some of our favorites have been the three High Sierra Music Festivals in California, three Oregon Country Fairs, and five Hornings Hideout festivals. An exciting side note is that we have camped with both Lucky Linda and John Adams at almost all of these festivals!

Our newest adventure began a little over a year ago when we bought our first house. We love being homeowners but it has been a huge project fixing it up! We spent most of the summer painting the house and making it look pretty.

We became engaged in May of this year over a nice lunch at the Olive Garden. We were talking about some of our friends who were getting married when the conversation moved to our relationship. We are both deeply in love with each other and felt the time was perfect to be engaged!

We didn’t waste any time… we drove directly to the mall to hunt for engagement rings. After searching all day with no luck, we were about to head home. We stopped at one last store when we found the perfect ring for Tina! It has a few shiny diamonds that won’t get stuck in her clients hair when she is working. We are still searching for the perfect ring for Mike.

The wedding planning process has been fun. It is sure keeping us busy! We have most of the big projects finished, and we have a couple surprises in store for you!

Invitations: We were so happy when our good friend Connie Umpress, a graphic designer, offered to create our wedding invitations. They could not be more beautiful and fitting for our celebration.

There will be a good selection of drinks available including beer, wine, and a small selection of liquor / cocktails.

After the celebration at Club Paesanos, we will make our way to the McMenamin’s Edgefield. We plan to keep hanging out and roam the bars of the Edgefield, and then resort back to a large hangout room. The hangout room will sleep six people comfortably and you are welcome to stay there or make your own room reservation.
